I got my first Kyrgyzstan Image Gallery to work. It is quite straightforward. At last I can get rid of the ugly tables and let CSS and the browser do the work.
I still need to understand how to put captions under the images and under the thumbnails. Also, the pictures (most are scanned with my new Minolta slide scanner) do not have a consistent size. I need to write GraphicConverter scripts to do this automatically.
